Trails and difficulties.

Let’s learn what should be our behavior in trails

The beauty of Quran is that whenever we read it, we find a new meaning, a new dimension. The ayat is depicting that Only believers are tested. Only believers have to go through different trials because who already don’t believe, how could they be tested? This is world, not jannah that we will get whatever we want. Sometimes there would be happiness all around, and sometimes there would be difficulties. Trails always come to teach us something. Sometimes make us more close to Almighty, sometimes make us realize that only Allah (SWT) is there for us whenever we find darkness all around. Sometimes Almighty want to bless us with a high rank, but our virtues are not enough so we are afflicted with trails so that our sins are washed away.

"If Allah wants to do good to someone, He afflicts him with trails" Sahih Al Bukhari.

How beautiful is this feeling that trail is not the difficulty actually it’s the source which could bring us more closer to Allah. Whenever we are going to give up and get depressed because of the difficulties around we should think that not everyone is tested, only those are tested, whom Allah wants to bless with something good. If Allah wants us to go through a particular test, how could be it harmful for us .

Apart from wordly problems and difficulties there are other trails also through whom a believer is gone through to strengthen his emaan. The tests of believers are never be easy because shaitan is always there to mislead a person. The most difficult test for a believer nowadays is to follow his Deen unfortunately. Strange but that’s the bitter reality. Shaitan tried it’s level best to stop a believer from following his Deen. Sometimes, by putting the thoughts in his mind that he can’t follow, sometimes by making him affected due to taunts of society. Sometimes by making him think that this so called society will not accept him because nowadays unfortunately not following your Deen is cool, but following your Deen is your crime. We think what society will think but we don’t think what Allah will think about us. Don’t let this world affect you. Just keep following the orders of Allah because what Allah thinks about us ,matters only. Keep following your Deen even if you are alone to follow it. Difficulties will come on way but remain steadfast because how can we get Allah without sacrificing anything. Now up-to us whether we want Allah or this so called temporary world. If a person still manages to overcome all this hurdles and follow His Deen. Then too, shaitan never lose hope and still try to make him astray. Now this is the question, how a person who is following Deen can be astrayed. That person could be and that’s the most destructive thing. Shaitan will put arrogant thoughts in his mind, put the thoughts in his mind that he is better than others, all others are sinful. Only he is pious and this arrogant behavior is most destructive one. It’s punishment is more deadly .Pride on ibaadat destroys the ibadat. Never think yourself better than others because when we will start thinking this ,our decline starts. So a believer has to follow His Deen as well as keep himself humble. That’s never easy but believe me it’s reward would be the greatest. May Allah enables us to follow His Deen in true sense. Ameen.

  1. MashaAllah great lines by writer and yes, indeed in these days of trials, it is very difficult for a Muslim to practice his deen calmly. It is in hadith as well that there will be time when practicing people will face problems as if they are holding burning coal in their hands…
May Allah make it easy for all of us…

  2. It’s really heart-melting. It really helped me tackle my current situations especially the hadith was really thought-provoking that Allah tests his beloved slaves. I am feeling a lot more confident and optimistic about trials and tribulations.
    Jazak Allah Khairan
