Hijab Story.

Let’s read another motivational hijab story.

MY HIJAAB STORY

As a student and a girl of a middle class family, I have always followed the rules and regulations regarding hijaab and pardah of female in our society and how it is important in Pakistani society. I have started hijaab in 8th class, because at that time my mother told me to do so but after that I realized that how important it is to cover your head and different body parts not just to feel secure but also to obey the learning and practices of islam. At the college level I have properly started hijaab although it was a girl’s college but I felt secure in hijaab rather than a dubatta along my neck. Now as a student of University of the Punjab Lahore, I also wear hijab as well as abaya and I really feel so secure. At first it was difficult for me to wear abaya in the trenching heat of sun but then it became like a habit. I really find no difficulties in carrying my hijaab as I am also from a not so conservative family. The message that I have for ummah and for its female is NO MATTER WHAT , KEEP YOUR DIGNITY AND SELF RESPECT HIGH SO THAT NO ONE CAN HURT YOU.
