Ashura is a word derived from arabic genre which means “10”, so its a prime word used for “???????????????????? ????????????????????????????????”. Muharram is the first Islamic month of Muslim Hijri calendar. It is the only month which Allah’s name has been attached to – the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) referred to it as ‘the Sacred Month of Allah’ – and is thus a highly blessed month. It is one of the four sacred months, and its special importance is indicated by its name. The word ‘Muharram’ literally means ‘forbidden’ – i.e. it is so sacred that certain actions become forbidden during it, as they would violate its sanctity.

“Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them.”

Regarding this verse, Ibn Katheer ra explains,
‘Allah has chosen elites from His creation’ , from among the angels He chose Messengers, from among mankind He chose Messengers, from among speech He chose remembrance of Him (dhikr of ALLAH ), from among spaces on earth He chose the mosques, from among the months He chose Ramadan and the sacred month, which includes “muharram”.

In addition, In Muslim history , Ashura and Muharram have great importance. This was 10th of the month of muharram when ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? AS crossed the river neil and got rid of pharaoh. This was 10th of muharram when ALLAH SWT forgave ???????????????????????????? ???????????????? AS . It was 10th of muharram when fire was made like a bed of roses for ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? AS.
Last Prophet of ALLAH SWT, ???????????????????????????? ????????????????, has exlpained the value of muharram very well. ???????? ???????????????? used to fast in first ten days of muharram, you told your companions to increase their ibadah in this month and stay more conscious about their deeds.

“???????????????????????? , ???????????????????? ????????????????????????????, ???????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????????????????”.

Despite of all these facts, holy importance of muharram, some Muslim people broke this ahad and disobeyed ALLAH SWT. Yes. They disobeyed ALLAH SWT and mistreated the progeny of Holy Prophet PBUH.
????????????????????????, ???????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????? “???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????” ???????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????.
This sounds very simple, martyrdom of someone, but what matters is the “process of martyrdom”. It was not a “battle between two groups”, it was an act of oppression , cruelty , brutality and evil by ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? towards ???????????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? RA.
It was a great conspiracy planned by Muslims of that time, who was ummah of his grandfather PBUH and who wanted him to obey their decisions to burn the Islamic values. Hazrat Hussayn RA, the great martyr , took his family , his brothers and sisters , with him for what? To tell the world that ,
“????????????’???? ???????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? SWT. ????????????’???? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????? SWT. ????????????’???? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????.”
Moulana Tahir Al Qadri mentions in his writing ,
“???????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? RA, ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ????????????????, ???????????? ????????????????’???? ???????????????? ????????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????.”
Then he says ,
‘???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???? ????????????????????????, ???? M???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????? ????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????. ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????

????o understand the importance of this day, we need to understand the status of Hazrat ???????????????????????????? RA.
This is the grandson of Prophet PBUH about whome he said:
“???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ????????????????????????????. ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ????????????.”

In another Hadith, Prophet PBUH took hands of Hassan and Hussain and said,
“???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????????????? ,???????????? ???????????????????? ????????????????????????, ???????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????? ????????????????????????????????????.”

It is narrated that when Prophet PBUH was asked that “who you love the most among your family?”
(Tirmidhi vol 1. 3772)
He PBUH replied “???????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????.” Then he used to call, “???? ????????????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ????????.” Then he would smell them and hug them.
???????????????? Messenger of ALLAH swt said,

“???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????????.”
Moreover, Prophet PBUH said,

“???? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????, ???????????????????? “????????????????????”, ????????????’???? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? . ????????????????????????, “???????? ????????????????????????????????????” , ???? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????? , ???? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ????????????????. ????????????’???? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ????????????.”
Hussain RA saved us from evil
Imagine, it is afternoon on the day of Ashura’. Hazrat al-Hussain (RA) is standing on the blood-drenched soil of Karbala in the heat of the scorching sun awaiting to meet his beloved. His head is wounded and blood is streaming slowly down his holy face soaking his blessed beard. He looks around, searching for members of his family and his companions, only to find them brutally slaughtered and slain like sacrificial lambs, lying there on the ground soaked in blood. He hears the innocent crying and wailing of the children and the women. Tears flow down his holy face. He takes a piece of cloth to wipe the blood from his face, whereupon an archer from the army of Yazid (may Allah’s curse be upon him) shoots a triple-headed arrow, which lodges into Imam al-Hussain’s (RA) heart.
Now remember this , when Prophet PBUH said,
“???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????????.”
Don’t look upon what other people doing if you feel they are doing very wrong. Take lessons from Prophets PBUH . Do what he did.
Ask yourself before you look upon anyone’s action.Ask yourself before you judge anyone’s belief. Because ALLAH swt will ask you about your belief only. Make a conscious think about hussayn RA and his sacrifice.
May ALLAH guide us to the right path. Amen.
