Are you hurt? Having hard time…Right???

Ways to deal with test and trials by Allah SWT

You: Why me?
You: Why Allah chooses every hardship for me and all success for others?
You: This is not fair at all…Allah doesn’t love me

All these questions and claims arise in our mind when we are hurt deep inside our soul. All these whispers come to us when we are hurt by someone or something. Whenever I found people around me with the same condition, I actually mention them only one ayah of Qur’an that is truly enough for me and for them as it is the best motivation for anyone’s hard time. It is one of my favorite ayah from Surah Al Baqarah, ayah 286 which states;

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَهَا

Allah does not lay a responsibility on anyone beyond his capacity.

Whenever you are going through with a test by Allah SWT, remember this ayah and say to yourself that Allah SWT will never ignore me. Though, I am the most sinful person of this world but still I have hope in Him. He will pull me up from this hard time as He brought me here to survive with these matters. These statements from you are actually a shut-up call to shaitan whispers who constantly do so to weaken the emaan (belief) of an individual. Allah SWT tests His people with some easy (good) time or hard time. But remember one thing, whatever you’re going through…it will pass since time doesn’t remain same for everyone. Everyone has to bear hardship of this world since this world is full of test and trials. Imaging a test free world is a foolish act since the perfect life will be only at Jannah and we’ll unite and cherish our precious time together there. So it totally depends on yourself that how you pass your trial tenure. There are only two possible ways to continue with this hard time; first way is to start complaining to Allah SWT and claim that He always tests me instead of others. On the other hand, the second option is to go with the flow and accept the reality that hard time is going on and I’ll rise with all the hardships.

Allah SWT never ever drops multiple or heavy burdens on any soul unless that person is capable of bearing that burden. When a hurtful soul got this reminder, he or she starts realizing that whatever I am going through is only by Allah’s plan and He will throw these hardships till I have the capability to do so. Whenever I got any hard time, and during time of survival; all of a sudden I got affirmation that hey your bad time has gone! Then my mind always click to that point “oh! So that was my capacity… as after that I won’t be able to survive with this hardship.”

Therefore it is essential to simply make it your belief that whatever Allah SWT is planning for you is the best decision for you. It is natural phenomena that human attracts to success but unfortunately; success of only this world since it is achievable or can be seen with naked eye in terms of wealth, health, status in society etc. Human of this time believe in only those things that he can see and feel right here in this world. Nobody dare to believe in unseen and this is the start of test of a Muslim. Therefore, we have to rely totally on Allah SWT and His planning and His decisions.

Lets’ again go through with the thoughts that we get in our bad times and how Allah SWT replies back on our each statement and question.

You: Why me?
Allah: Do people think that they will be let go merely by saying: “We believe,” and that they will not be tested (Surah Al-‘Ankabut, Ayat 2).

You:
Why Allah chooses hardships for me always and all success for others?
Allah: and most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of labour’s fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity (Surah Al Baqarah:155).

You: This is not fair at all…Allah doesn’t love me!!!
Allah: فَاِنِّىۡ قَرِيۡبٌ…Indeed I am near. (Surah Al Baqarah: 186)
Allah: ‘And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein’ (Surah Qaf: 16)

May Allah make us among those who remain patient and thankful on Allah’s trials and belief that He will not give me those trails that I can’t bear. Amen Ya Rabb!!!
