TRUE STORY!
While I was in my 2nd year of MBBS, I read a topic of gonad development in abdomen and pelvis portion of Anatomy Subject. Many students who are in 2nd year or have passed it are also aware of it.
According to Keith L. Moore, the testes develop in the extraperitoneal connective tissue in the superior lumbar region of the posterior abdominal wall. As the scrotum and labia majora form in males and females respectively, the gubernaculum aids in the descent of the gonads (both testes and ovaries).
The testes descend to a greater degree than the ovaries and ultimately pass through the inguinal canal. Interestingly, position of the testes before descending is same as of kidney and more interestingly kidney is between backbone and ribs.
This is same statement which is mentioned in the Quran and it has been criticized by skeptics and atheists even by Dawid Wood (one of biggest enemy of Islam) and they claim Quran is corrupt.
“He is created from a drop emitted-, Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.”
Quran 86:6–7
In the same portion of Anatomy, I studied blood supply of each part of abdomen and pelvis and here again I found that blood supply of testes in adult comes from same region as mentioned in Quran.
Here we can justify the Quran statement in both fetus and adult is true and those who are unaware of medical knowledge will rattle on this topic because they are ignorant.
